I AND MY BOSS

It was 4:30am in the morning. Phone rang; I cut it, next time I received, said “Hello” in sleepy voice. From another side I got a hoarse voice. I did not recognized and asked “who is this.” “Pankaj, did you not save my no.? It is your boss Alok.” I was surprised and got awake. “Good morning Sir, I did not see my phone your no. is saved sir” I replied.

Boss: “Pankaj, are you still sleeping. Its early morning, you should get up, do some yoga, it’s good for health.”

I: “yes , no sir I am awake”

Boss: “Anyway Pankaj tell me the minutes of today‘s meeting that I instructed you to make.”

I: “Ok sir, I will email it to you sir”

Boss: “No, tell me this orally I will note it down”

Pankaj in his mind thinking, what the bullshit are you talking, I will abuse you hundred times and I will resign today. I slept at 1:00am after making the minutes of the meeting but who cares! I opened my laptop and told all the minutes.

Boss: “Pankaj some points are not good, it’s irrelevant to clients perspective.”

I: “Sir, it’s good for our company.”

Boss: “No, Pankaj some of the minutes needs to be changed.”

I: “Ok sir”

Pankaj in his mind thinking let me sleep son of ass. I have to do twelve hour work despite eight hour written in offer letter, but still thankless and annoyed. But who cares!

Boss: “Ok Pankaj, do one thing , email me all minutes, I will further recheck it.”

I: “Ok sir, I will do it promptly.”

Boss: “Ok Pankaj, see you in meeting, be on time.”

Pankaj now prepared to sleep again after setting alarm of 8:00am. But he ruminated one think, when he want all minutes to be sent in his email then why he exaggerated all this, but consoling him. I think that’s why he is my boss.
