MY MANTRA FOR LIFE
- Start my day with a litre of normal water. And try to drink 4 to 5 liters of water a day. It helps me in losing weight and keep me well hydrated.
- I eat dry fruits like water soaked almonds and raisins, roasted grams, cashews, pistachios, and groundnuts, flax seeds, figs, dates etc. along with boiled eggs and fruits. One should eat as many fruits as one can. It helps in weight management and these food provides me a good source of protein and carbohydrate, omega 3.
- I do some exercises like yoga, running, weightlifting and i keep myself active throughout the day, I even take a walk while talking with someone on phone and i avoid taking conveyance for short distance, i avoid lift and escalators and try to use stairs as it is good aerobic exercise. I also have acupressure kit that i use whenever I get time or when i am using my phone in free time.
- Whenever time allows me i visit parks, i do some jogging in fresh air and then take some rest there connecting myself with nature. It keeps me physically as well as mentally fit. It distressing me. It heals the emotional scars.
- I love cow milk , i like it more with some flavours like saffron, flax seeds or lotus seeds.
- I love home cooked food, and avoid fast food, spicy or oily food as it is not good for health. Whenever I go out somewhere i carry dry fruits or fresh fruits with me so that when i get hungry i can rely on it as its healthy and there isnt fear of stomach health getting deteriorated. My body is temple and i try to keep itself pure from all such things which could harm it.
- I do not compromise with my sleep, I sleep more than 7 hours. And i avoid using phone before and after my sleep. I keep my phone at least at the distance of 2 to 3 meter away, so that when i need to use my phone I will have to walk, getting me out of my comfort zone.
- I believe that happiness comes from within, my feeling of happiness and contentedness doesn't depend on external things . I like doing things that i love regardless of how big or small it is. Like writing this small blog made me happy today. When i am free i like to talk with my friends instead of watching movies, useless videos. It keeps the connection with my friends intact and socially aware.
- For the calmness of my mind I go to temple once a week though I worship daily at home and read some good motivational books that motivates me and influence my thinking.
- I am a big fan of green tea, tulsi tea, lemon tea etc. And drink 2 cup in a day.
