LOVE PUZZLE TO BE SOLVED

Vijay and Aniket were in same engineering college. Vijay was his senior to Aniket. Apart from this formal relation they were also close friends as they were from same district as well. Vijay met Aniket for the first time in engineering college in Noida. He told that he is from Lucknow, their friendship blossomed into brotherhood. Vijay always treated him as his younger brother and Aniket also respected him and would take help in studies. Vijay as a senior would guide him time to time, he always advised him make girlfriend and enjoy the college life.

After the end of 7th semester, Vijay and Aniket returned to thier home town for vacation. Aniket invited Vijay to attend his sister’s marriage; his sister’s name was Priya. The event was going to held be on 26th December.

Vijay went to Aniket’s home. Aniket introduced him to his family after that he got busy in attending other guests. Vijay was a reserved boy, like a typical sanskari boy, but at that moment his inner true self was out and he started doing the thing that he liked most in his life that is to explore girls as in wedding ceremonies glamour is at peak. Men at this phase of their life only go to wedding parties to eat good food and stalk hot girls. Maybe girls of that age are also in the same phase. Amidst all this Vijay’s eyes went on stage where it got stuck on a girl in blue gown, busy doing what girls from groom side usually do on stage that is trying to fix attire of groom so that he looks best. She was so busy doing that she could not handle her stall well which was falling off from her shoulder. Time stopped at that moment for Vijay. That white skin girl in blue gown was the best view in that function, her curves, her hair and stall which had fallen off had made her more beautiful at that moment.

Vijay’s job was done, he ate and saw what he wanted and then left for his home.

College was open now so on first day the event of wedding of Aniket’s sister was being discussed. How much they enjoyed in the wedding but Aniket wasn’t able to relate as being a brother of bride he was all busy in wedding ceremonies and arrangements he couldn’t even try all dishes and didn’t get chance to dance with friends. Vijay asked him, did any girl attract him in the function. Aniket replied that girls from groom side were more beautiful and attractive. Aniket didn’t talk much after that Vijay thought maybe because he is junior he is reluctant in discussing this matter with him so Vijay took charge of initiating conversation and said that he liked a girl from groom’s side and he desired to talk with her and sought help of Aniket in getting her contact no. or fb id.

Vijay explained about her looks etc so that he could identify the girl. Aniket got the idea and told him that he had identified her and assured him that he would try to get her no. for him. Now Vijay also started to find out what’s in Aniket’s heart, he asked him which one did he like. After a pause Aniket finally came out of shell and said that he liked a girl named Sarika, very attractive, cute and slim girl in black gown. That black gown on her glowing white skin had made her very glamorous.

Aniket expressed his concern that if he could get close to her as she was flirting with boys from groom side. And with such girls competition was quite high as boys like wolves would never leave such girls alone. Vijay used a quote from a movie three idiot to motivate Aniket, he said “he should not forget in College every year 4 lakhs applications are received and only two hundreds are selected you are in that and others are finished, broken eggs”. Aniket told him that Sarika was daughter of groom’s maternal.

After some time Vijay came to know that Aniket’s feeling for Sarika got stronger maybe he had fallen in love. Vijay asked about this but Aniket denied. Vijay thought what he had to do with his love interest now he came to his point he asked that did he manage to get the no. of girl in blue gown or a FB id. He said that she is not on FB but he would get her no. Saying this Aniket rushed towards his hostel. It seemed like he was in hurry; Vijay thought he won’t do anything without any reason or benefit, so Vijay thought maybe he had to do something for him to get his work done. Later Vijay asked if he wanted to eat out on Saturday in a good restaurant as hostel did not serve food on Saturday evening. Aniket got excited on this because treat from a senior is considered a big achievement otherwise juniors in college had to find out means to please seniors but here it was opposite.

At Saturday afternoon Vijay again reminded him to go outside for dinner, so make you free in evening. At restaurant as they proceeded towards starter the same way, Vijay proceeded to know about Kajal, the girl Vijay liked. Aniket told him that Kajal was not of your type, not too much educated but further If he wanted to get her no. then he would ask to her sister, Priya. Vijay at that moment got compelling and he said Aniket I want her no. right now as he knew Aniket could not resist Vijay’s demand in when he is about to eat Paneer Tikka and Afghani Chicken and that too which is being paid by Vijay. Aniket somehow managed to get her no. and gave her no. to Vijay on the same dinner table. Vijay got the no. and thanked Aniket. Vijay thought half the battle was won. They ended their main course in that restaurant. But Vijay had some much main course to eat with Kajal. Vijay also expressed himself as he care for Aniket by saying how far his matter with Sarika had progressed. Aniket felt sad and starts telling him that Sarika is from rich family, she talked rudely, she was kind of egoist girl. She was willing to accept him as her friend but didn’t want him to expect anything more from their friendship. Vijay consoled him and motivates him that he must not feel sad and must try harder he must keep talking to her so that heart changes and something better would happen in future. Show some love and respect towards her and she would definitely be yours, Enjoy the rudeness there was so much fun on that. You are going to be an engineer be confident. Saying this they reached their hostel.

Now after reaching hostel Vijay cleared his mind and started focusing on his love interest. He messaged Kajal

Vijay: “Hello baby. How are you?”

On reply she started bombarding questions.

Kajal: “I am not your baby. I don’t know you, who the hell are you?”

Kajal: “How do you know me? How did you get my no?”

The response was obvious but Vijay was laughing and he messaged her again.

Vijay: “you are going to be my baby and I know it”

Kajal: “so confident, Hmm, what if I block you within one second.”

Vijay: “you cannot block me after listening this.”

Kajal: “what?”

Vijay: “I saw you.”

Kajal: “So what, so many people have seen me, what is so special in you seeing me”

Kajal: “Now can I block you?”

Vijay: “I saw you and fell in love with you, maybe my first glimpse on you have made you more beautiful”

Kajal: “you mean, you love me. Don’t say this.”

Vijay: “I like you. Can I say this?”

Kajal: “Don’t do this please, no one loves me.”

By saying this she went offline, Vijay thought it was a great start that they talked for so long in first conversation. But he wondered in last why did she say “on one loves me!” was it a hint for him or was she really upset with him. That night he had to sleep with this uncertainty. He kept on changing sides on bed but couldn’t sleep peacefully.

Next day again they started chatting and then would call each other time to time became friends and Vijay realized that there is some scope in making place in Kajal’s heart.

Some day later Aniket and Vijay were walking after having dinner; Aniket asked sir where you would be in December. Vijay replyed, I did not know; I mean depend on starting and ending of semester exam. But why were you asking this now I mean it was April. He asked could you come to attend the wedding anniversary of my sister, Priya. It was first anniversary so it would be celebrated very specially and I think sir you were close to me from the wedding of my sister and I would feel very confident if you managed to come with me. Vijay did not conform, but said, I did not know anyone there, neither was I your close relative, but intentionally he wanted to go with him. He left him saying only he would manage.

After end of final semester, Vijay got placed in good company, college days were ending he bid goodbye to all, gave good wishes to Aniket for his future and then he moved on to new challenge of his life relocates in new city that was New Delhi.

After four months Vijay was busy with his job. Kajal one day called him and proposed him. But Vijay didn’t expect this as whatever he said to her that time was for fun and lust he actually never loved her. He just wanted to make a girlfriend that’s it but now Kajal was burning in love.

Kajal would often complain that he didn’t talk much to her like before, didn’t come to meet or give her time she deserved.

Vijay got confused and was unable to explain her how busy he had become with his new job and career etc. Vijay consoled Kajal and promised her that he would meet her pretty soon on the wedding anniversary of Aniket’s sister.

Now Vijay started thinking about his meeting with her and what he should sayto her to end this relationship all her shortcomings like she was not well versed in English, he had to explain everything to her. He realized Aniket was right she was not of his type. They were not compatible to each other. Ultimately he wanted to ged rid off her.

Now the time came when Vijay visited his home after a long time. Vijay on reaching his home for the first after getting job felt that people had started respecting him like a man as students placed from college were given the utmost respect from relatives and society.

He called Aniket and asked him about his studies, Aniket replied his semester exams had ended; They talked some of their old memoirs. That time he asked Aniket when would be Priya’s wedding anniversary. Aniket replied it would be on 26th December and you had to come sir. Vijay assured him, and said you had to take me to that place.

They were on the way to Unnao to attend wedding anniversary of Priya. Aniket told Vijay that he had a friend and also invited her. ‘Her’ what do you mean? Are you talking about Sarika, Vijay asked.

“No, sir, It is another one, ‘Aradhna’, Sarika’s aunt’s daughter” Aniket replied.

“Aradhna” exaggerating the name, Vijay said, “you mean you do not love Sarika.”

“I love her but sir, she does not love me” Aniket replied.

“I do not get you, I become very puzzled”, said Vijay.

Aniket: “I am still approaching Sarika and is in touch with her and has good feeling for her. She encourages me, inspires me for my career.

Vijay: “Aniket I know you have ocean of words to express her but what about her feeling for you?”

Aniket: “You are my best friend, the only sentence she says always to me.”

Vijay: “She was using you for her entertain, does not you know this Aniket?”

Aniket: “But I am using Aradhna as a catalyst to be with Sarika.

Vijay: “Wonderful bro, a mind of an engineer, like it.”

Aniket: “But there is little problem sir, Aradhna loves me”.

Vijay: “Aniket you were playing a dirty game. I warn you, to be careful lest you should get into a big trouble”

Aniket: “No sir I am cleaning a way to Sarika, Aradhna does not know about Sarika and I, neither she knows that I like Sarika, wants to get rid off Aradhna. She always tries to be over smart, I say one thing she understands another. Always has conversation in heavy English words, which is very difficult for a novice boy in English like me to understand”.

With this extremely complex talk they reached Priya’s home. Aniket introduced Vijay with Priya’s family. Vijay met with Kajal and Sarika as they were already there. Kajal and Sarika urged Aniket and Vijay to show guest house. Might be this was a way to meet in private, Vijay thought. Vijay and Kajal met and had some breakfast in private similarly Aniket and Sarika. This is what they were eager for. Kajal and Sarika left them in guest house and returned home.

Later Aradhna also came to guest house along with Kajal.  Vijay saw Aradhna for the first time, she was very cute girl. Wearing spectacles. Vijay liked her energy, beauty is a common thing but for people with positive energy that’s rare. When she flashed her hair it increased the diopter of her beauty. She was very mature and educated girl and this seemed in her sense of talking. It was a small word that he tried to say about her but he thought he did not has a perfect word to define her cham, grace and gorgeousness. She was the one Vijay was looking for. Vijay did not feel such pleasure after meeting with Kajal rather than listening melodious  “Hii” from smiling face of  Aradhna. Might be Vijay was in love with her. But he could not express his feeling in front of Aniket and Kajal. Though he pledged for his next love that she would be my wife not only in this life but also in next seven lives, i.e. Aradhna. But he would not leave Kajal but to use as catalyst to reach Aradhna. So he started to act in that direction and his first step was to exhort Aniket to focus on Sarika Aniket’s love, was his mission not Aradhna who was only his vision. And secondly he pretended to be nervous whenever he saw Aradhna, so that she must notice him. he enjoyed feeling of both Kajal and Aradhna, Aniket did not because of Sarika, as Aniket feared of not to be caught in front of Sarika. He did neither express himself to Sarika nor to Aradhna. But Vijay did not make Aniket realize that he was approaching Aradhna. This event ignited a feeling of love towards Aradhna and this also compelled Vijay to go away from Kajal. And same for Aniket to go away from Aradhna and again to expedite his love journey towards Kajal.

One day Aniket told Vijay that Aradhna was in Delhi for interview in a management company. Hearing this he prayed god please succeed her. If she got a job in Delhi it would definitely open a way for him to reach his love that was Aradhna. He continued his prayer and also daydreaming. He got in touch with Aniket, this time the reason was to be in touch with Aniket to know about Aradhna previously it was Kajal. Two days later Kajal told Vijay that Aradhna would go to Delhi for her job. Vijay was totally surprised thanked to god. He was so confident and felt like he hugged Aradhna.

He also told Kajal about Aniket that he is in love with Sarika. Vijay asked for her help. He exhorted Kajal for their patch up for this he would give her more time and talk to her that whole night. She promised to help them.

This time Vijay talked to Aniket and intentionally told him what he felt about Aradhna and he wanted to meet her, Aniket did not get surprise with this. But he told Aniket that talk to Kajal she would help you but warned him not tell a single think about him and Aradhna. And asked for Aradhna’s phone no. but he did not share but to advise Vijay to find her profile on FB. 

Vijay find her profile on FB and started messaging Aradhna on social media on Monday but found her reply on Saturday. He expressed his feeling frankly and told her that he liked her. But Aniket did not love you. She surprised him by saying what he was eager to listen. She said Aniket clearly confessed about his feeling for her and also told her that he loved another one. During conversation Vijay told Aradhna that he wanted to be her friend. She said “ok”. She was ok but Kajal was not. Vijay thought, Ok mean the way is clear. 

Fortunately Kajal told him that she was going to get married next year at the same time that she urged to spend good time with him before getting married. Vijay said “ok”. He assured Kajal to proceed but warned to be careful and plan as per her wish that might be the last time. He said to use him as she could. Kajal managed and called Vijay after seven days for the red velvet cake that is to be cut by both in private. They both ate the cake to mitigate the appetite of lust.

Gradually Kajal was getting more involved with her fiancé than giving time to Vijay and Vijay was getting busy with Aradhna. Though their journey did not come out to any conclusion but they were sailing their boat smoothly. Aniket started his professional career and drawing a handsome salary and finally he succeeded to impress Sarika.
