THE GREAT INDIAN #1

I was the meritorious student from the childhood and loved not only by my family but also by my teachers. I do not have many friends but selected ones. I like playing but was not allowed to play due to my studies. Every one expecting that I will do something bigger in life while having good academics but everyone’s wish was not anticipating good, when I got accident with my bike before my 12th board exam, hurt badly through internal injuries and one of my legs was not performing well. I was almost senseless before two days of exam but wrote five of exams on stretcher, very difficult for me. I was not confident whether I would pass the exam or not. I had to take so many medicines, had to take precautions, talk to doctor time to time. Any how I passed that exam with more than sixty par cent marks.
Got admission in college; one of the state’s top private Engineering Colleges. I started my first semester with carry papers and getting carry papers each time continued till seventh semester. Till seventh semester I had eleven carry papers. I became back bencher, not able to focus on my studies because I have to take medicines and precautions that make me sleep more than twelve hour sometime fourteen hour, so attendance was also sort and it also reduces my memory power. Before 8th semester I was tending to feel healthy, my course of medicines also ended. I passed all the remaining carry papers at the end of 8th semester. Due to my carry papers and poor grades I was not short listed for college placement nor had any link in corporate field for any private job. So I started to study for government exams like Gate and Indian engineering service.
I cleared gate exam in first attempt but I did not get any job show again started to study but after some months due to some miss-happening at my home so I had to leave my study and it was a peak time break of more than one year. After getting everything normal I again started to study, I did not leave my passion, I continued with my full dedication but in 2016 Indian Engineering Services syllabus was changed and added some more subject with changed pattern. It was a big shock for me to study some more subjects and prepare myself differently for new pattern. I managed and finally selected in assistant loco pilot exam in Indian railways. Job was good but i was not compatible with it due to its untimely nature. As a back bencher it was not conducive for me to sit on first seat of the train. I had a good friend cum Bengali teacher there. Sometime later I was selected for junior engineer exam in Indian railways
. I resigned from assistant loco pilot job; I thought, I will get more time in junior engineer’s job. My ultimate goal is to work for Indian engineer service and serve for Indian railways. Now railways do not fall under Indian Engineering Service exam which is managed by UPSC though it made its own exam IRMS (Indian railways management service). It is new syllabus, new subjects to study. I am looking further to pass it with good grades. One of my college friend was my biggest enemy once but at last he helped me in my technical study a lot. I did not think negatively any time with having support of my family and with full dedication I am here and trekking farther in my career’s peak.
