HOW I GET INTO BLOGGING

I along with my friend was travelling for a trip to Madhya Pradesh. People were enjoying their leisure time by joking, gossiping and having all sort of fun. The atmosphere was of entertaining and joking. Suddenly train stopped at a station from where a lady stepped in she was a foreigner, she took a seat beside me and everyone was trying to act decent afterwards.

She started having conversation with one of my friends which later on turned into group talk when everyone was taking interest in her words; some were still busy in their mobile phones. She told us about her. She was actually travelling to Madhya Pradesh for a school event along with two other Indian colleagues. She was very friendly she distributed her visiting card to each and every one of us. We were travelling in a sleeper coach and it was about 4 p.m. so everyone was in mood of chatting so she started asking names of people sitting there and was keen to know the dreams and goals of others. Then came my turn she asked my name and asked about my goals in my life.

She said: "I has written some books."

I asked: "How much time it takes to write a book."

She said: "Almost one or two years it depends on your writing skills and the time you dedicate to it and sometimes you have to visit places or talk to people to get the content you know. You could call it research."

She said: "Why are you asking?"

I replied: "I also like writing."

She asked: "Have you ever written a book or published anything so far?"

I said: "No, I think I am not that much confident to publish I mean I want to upsurge the quality of my content and then go for publishing."

She said: "Before talking to you I thought whether you can speak English or not or have confidence to speak good English, but as we are having this conversation I can say that your English is pretty good."

I said: "I have written some personal things and some real life stories in my diary, things that actually inspired me or taught me something meaningful."

She said: “Dear, writing personal thing is good but writing real life stories that inspire you and you learn something from them will be of more useful if you publish them in any media whether it is online or offline and share them with other peoples so that most of the people can read, learn and inspire from that story.”

I said: “Offline media is very costly, but do you know any online media where I can publish easily with spending little.”

She said: “There are so many options available online but the simple one is to make a blog and start publishing on that platform.

I said: “Blog, sometime before during my college days I made a blog but due to lack of time and lack of niche to write, I deactivated my account.”

She said: “You can activate it now, and you have to make some time schedule for brainstorming on which you want to write, if you want to follow your writing passion. It will also upsurge the quality of your content.”

I said: “I will try.”

She said: “Dear, let me know when you make your blog and start publishing your stories, even you can send it to me through my email address which is in my visiting card.”

I said: “Yes, sure.”

I did not take it to heart about writing and about the conversation I had with her. After taking my dinner I along with my friends got sleep.

Sometime later, it was my night shift duty, I was feeling hungry at approx. 2PM, I searched something to eat in my bag I get her card and a curiosity originated to know about the book that she wrote and that she told us. As I did not remembered the name of her book so I searched her name on Google just to find some clue to her book, as I searched her first name Google search started showing me more than five suggestions about her, with her full name, with her book name, with her NGO that she own, Google search also suggested so many images of her. I was surprised to see this on Google, I mean I travelled with such a lady in sleeper class of the train, which name I can search in Google. I saw her many of the pictures and read about her, she was from America. She was doing events for school children. She travelled so many Indian states and working for mental health. I remembered about the conversation i had with her in sleeper class of the train. I also remembered to start to activate my blogging account and then I take my writing to heart and again I started to write and publish, the stories that sometime before was tending to dullness inside my diary. I stared to write more and dedicated some time schedule to follow my writing passion. I did not let her know about my blog though I still had her visiting card.
