This Diwali is different....

This Diwali is not about whether my house is sparkling clean. It is not about whether I have prepared a variety of mithais and namkeens. It is not about whether I have that perfect ethnic attire and jewellery for the occasion. It is not about a bucketful of bucks I would be spending on shopping and firecrackers. It is not about taking a grand vacation at an exotic location. It is not even about whether I got a promotion or a raise...

This Diwali is more about Survival. It is about being grateful that we are still able to breathe and alive for this day. It is about being thankful for the love and care from our loved ones. It about being with the family under one roof and spending time together. It is about lighting a Diya for all those dear and near souls who have left us. It is about extending support and spreading cheer to family and friends who have lost their people...It is about spreading happiness to those who have suffered losses in jobs and businesses.

This Diwali is more about being hopeful, for a healthy & happy tomorrow.

Light a lamp of hope 🔥🙏🏽

We all know today is 15th August Independence Day. It is a very great day for us as a citizen of India. Today everyone is sharing photos and updating status on all the social media sites, like the whole country is coloured with tricolour. We all celebrate this day every year with full zeal and in patriotic way. We all have a cordial nature for our soldiers. We will always remember the sacrifice of soldiers in Jammu Kashmir operation (1948), China war (1962), Pakistan war (1965), Bangladesh war (1971), IPKF operation Pawan in Sri Lanka (1987), Kargil conflict (1999), and many more operations that gave befitting response to those who tried to dismantle the sovereignty of India. It feels very good to see everyone is patriotic and showing love towards the country but this feeling should be long lasting not only on Independence Day or in Republic day. It was 25 th  2010 July, first day of my engineering college. I was very sincere, so I was there to attend the class there were three boys and two girls, others were absent because it was first day and some people take the first day lightly. It was Reena ma’am‘s class but before teaching there was an introduction session. Though I was not good at English but I managed to introduce myself and told her about myself. After sometime it was turn of a girl. Her name was Jasmine, she was very busy in reading some books I thought she did not mind what’s going on.
