Happiness and suffering almost we have all. We also have different life and dealing with the events surrounding. We sometimes feel sad, happy and emotional with these events. Sometimes we change these events and lead a better life full of happiness but sometimes these events change our self and make a life full of sadness and suffering.

I wonder why we cannot change or manage these events that make a life neither happy nor sad but the content full one, the life in which we can find good things in the worst of the events. I also wonder why the people fail to control or manage these events?

Why do people allow themselves to change?

What is the element that people lack?

Why do people get comfortable in the situations they know that it is bad for them?

Why do people lose courage in difficult times?

In this book we learn not only about the life of author but also about how did he deal with it? Author described his life in Auschwitz that is a concentration camp. How he find the meaning of life? How he survived in it?

The author optimistically described the attitude of prisoner in the given set of circumstances. We also learn logo therapy i.e. meaning through the therapy. The therapy has meaning, attitude, ideas and improvisations.

The author is a survivor of the brutal and unforgiving concentration camp under Nazi. In this book we read the real life stories of the author. The book is not for weak hearts. We read about Holocaust, similar stories of horror, hope, curiosity sorrow and fascination.

The book deeply touched me the most due to the suffering in the people went through, this is beyond our imagination.

Through this book we get inspiration. We compare most of our life with “search of meaning.” Because we all have odd or even conditions in our life like, we mourn for losses, we cry for losing our loved ones, we drink for losing our jobs, we smoke to avoid thinking about our reasons to live this day.

This is the book which describes the elements which keeps human going in times of greatest despair, the likes of which humanity has seldom known. It is easy to look at instance of immense suffering from afar. No matter how degraded or miserable life becomes. It is always better than death of course, it is very easy for me to write now, sitting comfortably in an air conditioned room, but this is the message of the book.
