Writer’s Block
Writers
block is a term associated with writers, in this a writer became unable to write
new things or write very slowly. But this is not a problem associated with lack
of writing skills.
There
are so many writers who felt writer’s block like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Joseph Mitchell,
cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, composer Sergei Rachmaninoff and song writer Adele.
There
were so many writers who initially did not understand this. They felt that
there was a power which did not allow them to write further. People having
writer’s block did not understand it as a problem, so they quit writing in
their early age. Some people also find that they did not have knowledge of
language to write further.
Writer’s
block originates sometime from creative writing itself, sometime writer’s block
originates due to lack of inspiration or if the writer got distracted from his
lifestyle or any other event. There are high chances of originating writers
block from writer’s career, any illness, anxiety or depression, disharmony in
relationship, lack of money or fear of failure. Writer’s block also originates
from pressure to finish the project as early as possible or when writers focus him
to work against his writing style.
Writer’s block can be treated by so many ways. I like to discuss my writing from someone to clear my idea. But there are other ways like free writing, brainstorming, clustering, making list and engaging with the writing. In a research there were so many techniques that writers use to treat writer’s block. And the solutions are, alter the time of day to write, setting deadlines to lower expectations and doing meditation. Through so many writers it was also found that writers should break the work in pieces and then write one piece at a time rather writing everything at one time. It will also produce good quality content. The writer should develop the best place to write. The environment should also be the best to write the best content. The researchers find this as a treatable thing but every writer should find confidence and remove anxiety from his lifestyles.
