BOOK REVIEW: EAT THAT FROG

Image
Eat that frog book is written by Bran Tracy . It is very compact book but gives a vast knowledge of task management and helps us accomplishing any goal. I read this book in almost four hours not continuous. I preferred this book because I love reading personal development books . Everyone should read this book who wants to finish his task on time and need motivation to accomplish any goal. An American author once said if your job is to eat a frog, eat the frog, then do it first in the morning, and eat the biggest one first. The frogs are basically our tasks and as per the book if you do the most important task which can have a positive impact on your life but there is the probability that you could procrastinate then do that task first in the morning. If there are two most important tasks then choose the hardest and biggest one first. Brain Tracy is one of the writers who inspire us for personal development . He had written more than 70 books and changed the lives of million...

BOOK SUMMARY : EAT THAT FROG

Eat that Frog is written my Brain Tracy . In the book frog refers to a task and eat refers to accomplishment. Sometimes we all need to start something but we never plan. We should sit down calmly, make a list and then pour all our energy in accomplishing one item from the list. We can do something best with what we have, where we are. Procrastination is a natural phenomenon but it greatly depends on us what we choose to procrastinate on. We should do the worst first. We can ask three questions- What are my highest value activities? What can I and only I do that if done well will make a real difference? What is the most valuable use of my time right now? Begin a task, engaged with it, the mind will follow and the work will be completed. The thinks for us that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least for us. We all do not hav...
