THE MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERARI
ROBIN SHARMA
The monk who sold his Ferrari book is written by Robin Sharma. Robin Sharma famous for respected humanitarian, leadership and personal optimization mentor. I completed this book in fourteen hours (not continues). It is a fiction book and of self-improvement kind.
The book is written on teaching the things that a lawyer learns from the sages. The lawyer get heart attack in the courtroom but he recovered from his life later. He has all the luxuries and very peaceful house. All these things did not give him peace. He left everything and went to India in search of peace and to find purpose of his life.
Key learning from the book…
Master your mind
Follow your purpose
Practise Kaizen
Respect your time
Selflessly serve others
Embrace the present
These learnings are very effective to train our brain. It is some of the things the lawyer learns from the sages. In the word everyone’s life depends on how he thinks an act. This book can improve our thoughts and can better our acts.
This book is best suited for the people who are very busy all the time and running for money. The first part of the book describes the problem and the lawyer faced and the second part describes the solutions. The second part also describes the key learnings from the sages.
Most of the things I already know like think positive, avoid negative thoughts, practise meditation and work on your health.
At the end of each chapter, we get some actionable things to practise and remember which i like the most. The language of the book is very easy and simple. Anyone can read the book from any age.
