The alchemist book is written by Paulo Coelho. It is of fiction type book. I took almost twelve hours to read this book not continuous. During my college days, I along with my friends watched this movie, most of the friends enjoyed the movie and learnt very nice English but I neither enjoyed the movie nor understand anything. Now I heard of the book. As I love reading the books so I chose this book and I found it amazing. It is far better than movie and I learnt so many things like…

  • Believe in love, self and have faith.
  • Follow our dream at any cost.
  • Treasure is within us, we may try to find it in other materialistic things in the world
  • Any common person can dream of uncommon.

Paulo Coelho is born in Brazil. He is a lyricist and a novelist. She is the author of 13 international best sellers. He is United Nations messenger of peace. He got 115 international prizes and awards. He also got Legion of Honour (Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur).

The book starts with a Shepherd boy who wanted to travel the world. His father wanted him to be a priest but he was passionate for travelling. He started travelling with his sheep.



During his travel he ignored his dream. But a king convinced him to work again on his dream. The king teaches him so many things. The boy again started travelling. He was robbed by a man who he feels was the best friend of him. But this time he did not stop. He worked to earn money to survive. He fell in love with a girl, called Fatima and he decided to live in desert, giving up his dream but Fatima advised him to complete his journey.

To search for treasure he reached the same place where he had the dream of treasure. He could have easily get the treasure without travelling so long but his real treasure was the knowledge he got in the journey.

The book is very motivating and makes us more humble. I love to read about people who achieve their hard and big dreams. While reading the book it give a feeling of we can also travel to our destiny.

We all know today is 15th August Independence Day. It is a very great day for us as a citizen of India. Today everyone is sharing photos and updating status on all the social media sites, like the whole country is coloured with tricolour. We all celebrate this day every year with full zeal and in patriotic way. We all have a cordial nature for our soldiers. It was 25 th  2010 July, first day of my engineering college. I was very sincere, so I was there to attend the class there were three boys and two girls, others were absent because it was first day and some people take the first day lightly.
