BOOK SUMMARY: THE ALCHEMIST

The Alchemist book is written by Paulo coelho. The book starts with a shepherd boy Santiago who had a dream that pyramids of Egypt had a treasure for him. He was so intrigued with his dream that he with all his seeps started travelling to Egypt.

In this journey he met with new people, new countries and with new challenges. He loved all his seeps but he had to sell them just to arrange money for travelling. During the journey he made a friend. The friend cheated him and left him feel terrible. For a moment he thought to go back to his home but his dream was so big to keep him strong and moving. To survive he worked at a glass shop for several years to earn money. He again started his journey. In this journey he faced so many challenges. He also faced war conditions in a village. He met The Alchemist. He also fell in love with the most beautiful girl he saw in his entire life. The alchemist is a person who is immortal who possess a liquid which had the power of turning a rock into gold.




The boy gets whatever he wishes for. There are so many good things happen to him and there are so many bad things happened like his money was stolen thrice and he was beaten to death once but those are not the obstacles we face while searching for our destiny.

The alchemist is a person who is king of wisdom. He understands each and every rule of life. He is wise enough to judge a person by his body language. He had the highest form of maturity. He practices the science of alchemy and that’s why he is The Alchemist.

We all know today is 15th August Independence Day. It is a very great day for us as a citizen of India. Today everyone is sharing photos and updating status on all the social media sites, like the whole country is coloured with tricolour. We all celebrate this day every year with full zeal and in patriotic way. We all have a cordial nature for our soldiers. We will always remember the sacrifice of soldiers in Jammu Kashmir operation (1948), China war (1962), Pakistan war (1965), Bangladesh war (1971), IPKF operation Pawan in Sri Lanka (1987), Kargil conflict (1999), and many more operations that gave befitting response to those who tried to dismantle the sovereignty of India. It feels very good to see everyone is patriotic and showing love towards the country but this feeling should be long lasting not only on Independence Day or in Republic day. It was 25 th  2010 July, first day of my engineering college. I was very sincere, so I was there to attend the class there were three boys and two girls, others were absent because it was first day and some people take the first day lightly.
