NANI'S HOME PART 4

They decided to go outside of the home. Raj asked everyone to go to mango’s garden (Aam ka bagh).

They all told Nana and Nani, “They are going out to aam ka bagh.”

Nani said, “Go but be careful from insects and snakes.”

Raj replied, “Everyone will be safe with me.”

They saw a bamboo tree.

Raj: There are so many bamboos. Everyone cut bamboos from this tree who required.”

They moved farther and they saw a garden fitted with net. In this garden there were so many plants of different variety like guava, Carissa carandas (karonda) black plum (jamun), lemon, mangoes and sweet lemon (mosambi) etc. There they saw a horse tied with a pole (khunta). The horse was of white colour.

Shyam said, “It is very nice garden. What if there is a small house inside the garden.”

Preeti: I must daily feed the horse. I must also pluck the fruits and mangoes.

Ram: If we have horse then I must go for a ride on horse. I must sleep on the roof for cool and natural air.”

They walked forward holding each other’s hand. Preeti indicated a road and said, “This way, we go to our school.”

Shyam said, “I saw your school. There is a playground beside it.”

Preeti: Yes yes, but we do not play anything there. Only boys of higher classes used to play.

Moving some step more, Raj indicated towards a pond, very big. He said, “We sometimes come here to play and see fishes.”

Shyam: Fishes, can we see it now? How big the fish you saw?

Raj: Not now, we must take something to feed fish like corn, flour, rice etc. Then fish come out. Some boys also come here to take a bath but we never took a bath. I do not know how to swim.

Preeti: Here some people also come to catch fish for their dinner.

Ram: I also saw all this in our village. We also have a big bond. We call it a pakka talab. Sometime ago I took a bath in that. I knew how to swim. In the pond there are stairs, you go stairs by stairs inside the pond.

Preeti: Then it must be very deep.

Ram: Yes yes very deep. I never saw it empty. So hardly anyone knew how deep it is.

Shyam: I also knew it. It is in the way when we go to our school there are so many skeleton falling beside the pond.

We all know today is 15th August Independence Day. It is a very great day for us as a citizen of India. Today everyone is sharing photos and updating status on all the social media sites, like the whole country is coloured with tricolour. We all celebrate this day every year with full zeal and in patriotic way. We all have a cordial nature for our soldiers. We will always remember the sacrifice of soldiers in Jammu Kashmir operation (1948), China war (1962), Pakistan war (1965), Bangladesh war (1971), IPKF operation Pawan in Sri Lanka (1987), Kargil conflict (1999), and many more operations that gave befitting response to those who tried to dismantle the sovereignty of India. It feels very good to see everyone is patriotic and showing love towards the country but this feeling should be long lasting not only on Independence Day or in Republic day. It was 25 th  2010 July, first day of my engineering college. I was very sincere, so I was there to attend the class there were three boys and two girls, others were absent because it was first day and some people take the first day lightly. It was Reena ma’am‘s class but before teaching there was an introduction session. Though I was not good at English but I managed to introduce myself and told her about myself.
