I request my readers to read the book carefully and then make a judgement over the incidents mentioned in it. That either I was WRONG or my LOST friend was WRONG. Don’t give any favour to me just because I’m writing the book. Even I didn’t hesitate and tried my best to explain my mistakes also at the extent where I was able to elaborate them perfectly. As I believe that I’m not writing this book to defame my LOST friend in any manner because he was like a younger brother to me and still, I love him a lot.

Reading about bizarre ancient ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Easter Island (the loneliest island), Machu Picchu, Giza, Khajuraho, Angkor Wat and many more made him realise the depth of the folklore and ancient narration of history also called itihas (i.e. iti hasa meaning 'so indeed it was'). Choice architects have amazing power, and when you become aware of their influence, you see it everywhere. Knowing about their tools changes you. You realize that when you present choices to other people, you wield influence. Whether you know it or not, you can coerce influence already. This book doesn’t simply analyse the mental fallacies that trip us up. It goes further to show us what good decision-making looks like – that is, both moral and effective.

In northern India, an eighty-year-old woman slips into a deep depression after the death of her husband, and then resurfaces to gain a new lease on life. Her determination to fly in the face of convention - including striking up a friendship with a transgender person - confuses her bohemian daughter, who is used to thinking of herself as the more 'modern' of the two.
To her family's consternation, Ma insists on travelling to Pakistan, simultaneously confronting the unresolved trauma of her teenage experiences of Partition, and re-evaluating what it means to be a mother, a daughter, a woman, a feminist.
Rather than respond to tragedy with seriousness, Geetanjali Shree's playful tone and exuberant wordplay results in a book that is engaging, funny, and utterly original, at the same time as being an urgent and timely protest against the destructive impact of borders and boundaries, whether between religions, countries, or genders.
About Author
Author of three novels and several story collections, Geetanjali Shree's work has been translated into English, French, German, Serbian, and Korean. She has received and been shortlisted for a number of awards and fellowships, and lives in New Delhi.
Daisy Rockwell is an artist, writer and translator living in northern New England, USA. Apart from her essays on literature and art, she has written Upendranath Ashk: A Critical Biography, The Little Book of Terror and the novel Taste. Her highly acclaimed translations include, among others, Upendranath Ashk's Falling Walls and Bhisham Sahni's Tamas, published in Penguin Classics.

Within a couple of minutes of steam, Akshara noticed that her client was coughing and sputtering, almost as if she was going to throw up. Her eyes started to water and her face turned a bright red. Her nose started watering. She looked as though she were gagging. "What happened, madam? Are you unwell? Shall I get you a glass of water?" Her client, Rosy Fernandes, was rummaging desperately in her handbag for something. Finally, she seemed to find what she was looking for - an inhaler, one that Akshara had seen many asthmatic patients use.
Rosy was in a state of panic - she thrust some capsule into the inhaler, inhaled from it, struggling to breathe all the while. Nothing seemed to work. She was choking. Alarmed, Akshara turned the steamer off and bolted out of the cabin to fetch Renu. This was a nightmare! By the time Akshara and Renu hurtled into the cabin, Rosy Fernandes was already on the floor, motionless, surrounded by some currency notes that had spilled out of her handbag, its contents all over the place. The events that unfold put everyone's lives at the Spa on hold. Will Inspector Talpade be able to solve this tricky case?

Review
Decision DIL SE is a collection of TEN real stories of my life. These stories follow me as I progress through my life, from a student to a middle manager. The mistakes I made, the lessons I learned, and the victories I achieved.
Metaphorically, Ravana had TEN heads, each of which depicted one of his traits such as ego, intellect, fear, and so on. Similarly, each story in this book depicts one of the traits of a common man such as honesty, anger, confidence, and so on.
It is written keeping in mind the challenges that people, particularly students and young to middle managers, face in their personal and professional lives. I believe these stories will help them successfully navigate many curve balls that life throws at them.
Sanjay Grover is an author and filmmaker. Post his MBA from the prestigious Indiana University (USA), Sanjay worked as a strategic marketing expert for companies like DELL and AMD. He quit his job in the United States to pursue his love for storytelling. He has been working as a writer, executive producer, and short film director for over a decade now.
