A CHILD WITH SHOE POLISH KIT

It was very hot weather. I was standing in a bus stop. I did not want to go on bus of green color. I want to wait for red one, red one was a A.C. bus. My face was very sweaty and i was feeling angry on DTC. After more than fifteen minutes i boarded in a bus, it was red one.

I was getting comfort in a seat which was on below a whole. From this whole very cool air was coming on my head. I was feeling very hungry.  I searched something in my bag. I find a packet of biscuit and some chocolate

I was coming from Noida. At some distance, the bus stopped at a bus stop, here almost three people boarded along with a child. This child did not belong to anyone. He was watching here and there. He was not searching for seat unlike others. He chose to stand near the glass window. His eyes was very attractive. The child was very cute and watching outside from the glass window. He was waving his hand to the people moving outside the bus, like we do to bade audio to our loved ones.

The child surprised me when I saw he was carrying a kit of shoe Polish. He was carrying a black brush in one of his hand and a bag holding on his shoulder. In this bag everything was visible from outside.

I was totally shocked to see him. For a  while, I remembered my childhood days and the luxuries i had. I wanted to give him the packet of biscuit. I moved towards him but he rushed to deboard from the bus. I felt regret. I didn’t get control in my mind, my mind was filled with frustration. I remembered this event, even after two years. Why the child is not in school? Why he compelled to polish shoes? Who is responsible for the child?

  1. We can educate children. Also we should talk to the child first.
