BROKEN BIRTHDAY AND THE BOY: PART 1

It was very special day for Mrs. Parul. She woke up with so much excitement and wished good morning to her hubby(her husband). Her hubby's name was Mr. Subramanian. He was still sleeping while Mrs. Parul was puzzling in so many dresses, she was going to wear today. But she was very sure to prepare breakfast. She was going to prepare Mr. Subramanian's favorite masala dosa. For making masala dosa, Mrs. Parul prepared its material last night.

"You are still sleeping! wake up." Mrs. Parul said while coming from washroom." It is 6:45 AM let me sleep half an hour more." Mr. Subramanian said in sleepy voice. "No you cannot sleep while I’m awake." Mrs. Parul said. She moved towards kitchen but said, "Get ready, I’m going to prepare your favorite breakfast." She did not wait for reply and entered kitchen.

Mr. Subramanian prepared his bag and came for breakfast. Mrs. Parul served masala dosa with sambhar and coconut chutney to him. While eating, he said, "Masala dosa is good but it will be the best if it’ll be more crunchy." Mrs. Parul replied, "Give me some time I will make the next one more crunchy." Mr. Subramanian said, "No, I’m getting late but i will eat next time. Anyway you are looking so beautiful in this red gown. Wish you a very happy birthday. I will try to come early today. I will bring very expensive cake for you."

Mrs. Parul was listening but Mr. Subramanian left the house. It was so fast time spend, she could not understand what to plan for today. She had a doubt, if her hubby had any special plan for her. She picked plates form dining table and moved to kitchen. She watched towards the crunchy masala dosa which was lying on pan.

Her phone was ringing. She in a slow said, "Good morning Mamma."
Her mother said, "Good morning beta(daughter), Happy birthday to you and God bless you."
Mrs. Parul said, "Thank you Mamma."
Her mother said, "How are you beta? where is Mr. Subramanian?"
Mrs. Parul said, "He went to office but he said to come early."
Her mother said, "He can take leave for today. Anyway, enjoy it’s your first birthday after marriage." With so many other things they talk for sometime.

She sat in a corner of sofa and started thinking about her life before the marriage. She was so beautiful and popular in whole college that’s why a boy, Mr. Subramanian from Computer Science branch proposed her. Mr. Subramanian was very handsome guy but she was surprised to see that a boy from Computer Science branch where there were so many beautiful girls in the class. But he chose to propose a girl who was studying in instrumentation engineering.

We all know today is 15th August Independence Day. It is a very great day for us as a citizen of India. Today everyone is sharing photos and updating status on all the social media sites, like the whole country is coloured with tricolour. We all celebrate this day every year with full zeal and in patriotic way. We all have a cordial nature for our soldiers. We will always remember the sacrifice of soldiers in Jammu Kashmir operation (1948), China war (1962), Pakistan war (1965), Bangladesh war (1971), IPKF operation Pawan in Sri Lanka (1987), Kargil conflict (1999), and many more operations that gave befitting response to those who tried to dismantle the sovereignty of India. It was 25 th  2010 July, first day of my engineering college. I was very sincere, so I was there to attend the class there were three boys and two girls, others were absent because it was first day and some people take the first day lightly. It was Reena ma’am‘s class but before teaching there was an introduction session. Though I was not good at English but I managed to introduce myself and told her about myself.
