BOOK REVIEW : STORY GENIUS

Story genius review book is written by Lisa Cron. It is one of the best books for creative writing. I bought the book from E-Commerce site. I read the book in almost eighteen hours, not continuous. I found the book very interesting. It gives us so many new information. Though, there are so many things written again and again. I found the screen cards for writing a craft. There is step by step guide to write your novel. We read about the ways most of the writers failed to find readers. I found the language of the book quiet tough so it took more time to read and understand. I do not want to skip any new thing described in the book, so I read the things again and again. I also read its summary on internet to get all the things to understood. I love the books which teach us something and self help books. I always remember the quote for creative writing "Read a lot and write a lot" by Stephen king if you want to be a writer. In the book I like the quotations written in starting of the chapters.

The book is talked for brain science to write a story. In the book, we read most about the story like this is a story.... this is not a story... this is the way... this is not the way... the purpose of stories to come out of the present and imagine the future so that we can prepare us for the unexpected. Story is a virtual reality. Story makes us familiar with the things we did not experience.

Story hacks the reader's brain. The definition of a story is an account of imaginary or real people and events told for entertainment.

Stories make us feel good like food, romance and stories educate us.

To start writing you should follow the steps...

Step one... you should first feel the Pinprick of the idea.

Step two... Why do you care about this idea? You should just clear your thoughts about it.

Step three...What is your point? What you want to write for your readers? Why your readers will stick to you?

Step four...Draft your what if... you should be passionate about your Idea. You should write confidently about your point of view.

Lisa Cron had written so many books. Her one of the books is Wired for story: The writer's guide to using brain science to hook readers. She worked in publishing at w.w. Norton. She helps writer's, not for profits, educators and journalist.
