NANI'S HOME PART 7

They woke up from the dust that entered in their eyes and mouth. Nani asked them to put all the bed inside home as you all woke up. They put all the khaat inside home annoyingly.

Raj asked Shyam and Ram to go out with him to take a bath under a hand pump outside of the home. They took bath and got ready. Preeti served some pakoda to Nana and Nani. Mami asked Raj, Shyam and Ram to take tea and pakoda. Preeti served pakoda to them everyone. It was a plate filled with onion, lauki and aalu pakoda. Tea is made from jaggery. They were happy to eat such a tasty food items.

They all came out of home. Raj called his neighbour’s friend to play cricket. He took out his ball and bat which he bought from the dassera fair. Shyam started bowling and Raj took batting. Preeti was busy in house hold chorus. They all played till noon. They all tired and sweeting, while sitting in the sade of neem tree, they planned to go to take a bath in pond. Raj denied by saying his parents would scold him if they came to know. Raj’s friend said, “They will never know as we go when everyone was taking a noon nap.”

Shyam also feared and he said, “He is too little too jump in the pond.”

Raj’s friend, “No one is saying you to jump in the pond. You can take a bath near the pond."

Ram agreed to go. Listening Ram everyone agreed to go to pond.

Everyone went to take lunch. Nana asked Raj to fill a bucket from hand pump for Buffalos to drink water.

Shyam excitedly took the bucket and started pumping.

It was the time, everyone took lunch. All the elder people used to take a nap afternoon. It was the time all the children became active. It was their time. They took one gamchha and put it on Ram’s solder. While Shyam asked to take underwear. Ram denied to take anything by saying, "You are too small to be shy". Ram, Shyam, Raj and Raj’s friend left the house in excitement.

They all reached near the pond. Raj’s friend asked to first jump in the water. He opened all his clothes. He took a long run. He jumped on the water. Later Ram took a long jump. Raj also took a jump. Shyam feared so he did not jump on the water but slowly moved inside water. Raj’s friend and Ram decided to go to middle of the pond. Raj came to bank of the pond. He feared to go towards mid of the pond. They played with each other. Sometime passed, Shyam moved out of the pond and took the gamchha to dry his body. He later wore the same clothes as previous. He decided to sit in the shade of banyan tree as the water of the pond was hot.

Raj also came in the shade of the banyan tree. He also dried himself from the same gamchha. He wore the same clothes as previous and sat. Raj's friend and Ram came at the last and followed the same procedure. But Rahul and Ram changed his underwear as they came from home wearing two underwear one on another. Everyone took rest on the shade of the banyan tree. They also spread the gamchha to dry and their underwear also. Time passed, they took rest. They all walked towards their home. They reached the home, they saw everyone still taking a nap. They quietly lied down in a khaat. They also fall asleep.

They woke up with the voice of Nana’s hukka’s sound while Mami was cleaning utensils. Ram asked Shyam to get ready.

Shyam: Why bhaiya?

Ram: We need to go back to our home.

Shyam: Bhaiya, can we go tomorrow in the morning?

Ram: No, we will be late for our school. But this time we can go slowly and reach our home happily.

Ram and Shyam get ready. Mami took some biscuits and tea. Preeti asked Mami to pack some batasa for them. They might feel hungry in the way. She packed some batasa and some Rawa Ke ladoo with them.

They were ready to leave their Nana and Nani’s home. While leaving the home everyone gave them some money.

Ram put a cloth on cycle to clean it. Ram hold the cycle and asked Shyam to have seat. Ram started cycling. They left the home. It was a short trip of their Nana and Nani’s home. They enjoyed a lot in a very short time.
