SUMMER VACATION (GARMI KI CHUTTI) PART 2

She came to see the game. They all played for some time. But Salaj asked to take a break. They stopped playing and sat on a dais. Arya initiated to talk to the girl. Her name was Gauri. She was neighborhood uncle’s daughter in law. She had completed high school. She was from a village like all of them were. But last time in summer vacation, she went to Lucknow after ninth standard.

From the next day, they either played the games which were used to play by girls or just wait for Gauri to join their talk. This day no one was in mood to play tip-cat(Gilli Danda). So, Salaj picked some stones from garden and proposed to play Stone's play(gotta). Arya and Salaj started playing Stone's play(gotta), sitting on dais. Shivansh went to play cricket with his friends.

Arya and Salaj were playing but unintentionally. Arya with a happy face said “Look there is aunt and Sonu coming.” Aunt and Sonu were coming from main road to house. Arya and Salaj took blessing from aunt. Aunt went to house but Sonu joined them and started to play. Sonu did not like the game. Sonu said, “Girl's play these game, it is not for boys. Do you have card? Playing cards suits boys.”

Arya replied in very excitement, “I have cards; I recently made them from match box.” “You are still a small boy.” Sonu said. Arya’s mother came outside and asked “Sonu let’s go inside take some sweets and water.” They all went inside. Arya asked, “Mummy, is there sweets for me?” Mummy said, “No, sweets are limited but you will get, if remains.” Arya did not have to do anything but eagerly waited.

In the evening, they all were sitting outside the house. Sonu suggested going somewhere else. Shivansh suggested to go to a small canal(Nahariya). Baalu said, "The Small canal(Nahariya), near the temple?” Salaj said, “My mother forbade me to go outside.” Sonu advised Salaj, “You can tell your mother that we are going to temple instead of a small canal. She will not forbid you.”

Sometime later, they were sitting on the bridge of the small canal. They were talking loudly and laughing heartily. While passing through an old man said, “You guys come here to see girls who used to come to temple. You guys stalk girls here.”
