SUMMER VACATION (GARMI KI CHUTTI) PART 4
In the next morning, everyone was in fear. But they tried to look like normal. Sonu said, “Arya give me cards, let’s play cards.” Arya said, “Our parents will beat us if we play cards in house.”
Shivansh said, “Let’s go to garden which is backside of the house. No one will come there.” Sonu said, “Let’s go.” Everyone followed him and they were started playing cards, sitting on a sack. In the garden there were so many plants which were continuously providing cool air and shadow to them. Sometime later Baalu also joined them. Sonu, Shivansh and Salaj were playing cards while Baalu was watching. Arya said, “ Baalu, will you play from my seat? I’m going to eat unripe mangoes.” Salaj also wanted to eat, so he also requested Arya to bring unripe mangoes for him. Shivansh said, “Bring some salt and one knife also along with unripe mangoes.”
Everyone again started playing cards. Before Arya came to garden, Salaj saw that Gauri was coming towards them. Gauri also knew playing cards but she chose to sit beside and watching the play. Salaj was trying to impress her with his play while everyone was playing normally. Arya reached garden with all the things. Gauri was surprised to see such big mangoes. Shivansh requested Gauri to cut the mangoes. Gauri got the knife and started to cut but she said, “If you have such big unripe mangoes, you should make Pana” Sonu said in surprise "Pana, we don’t know Pana". With this word not only Sonu was surprised but everyone was. “Pana is very famous in cities. In Lucknow we drink whenever we go to market. Pana is made by roasting unripe mangoes and mixing it with jal jeera in water." Gauri said. Arya curiously asked, “What else do you eat or drink in Lucknow city market.” Gauri said, “There are so many things I used to eat like pastry, ice cream, pizza, drink lassi and shikanji etc.”
Shivansh said, “Let’s go for lunch otherwise mummy will come in search of us.” Everyone stood up but Arya picked packet of salt and knife. They moved towards their house.
In the afternoon, they were playing outside the house. One of the boy Arjun was also playing with them. He said, “I am a wrestler, no one can win with me.” Everyone ignored him but Arya said, “I will defeat you.” Sonu provoked Arya to fight. Arjun said, “Let’s go to wrestling center(akhada). I will defeat you.” Sonu asked everyone to go to wrestling center which was made in field.
Everyone moved towards wrestling center(akhada). They both started wrestling. Arjun was elder than Arya. It was not much time when Arjun broke the left hand of Arya. Everyone was shocked to see this. Arya started weeping and saying, “My mummy will beat and scold me when she will look at my broken hand.” Arjun said, “I already told him not to fight with me. No one can win with me. It was my mistake. I did not break your hand intentionally.” Sonu did not say anything. Shivansh started beating Arjun and later Sonu, Baalu also came to beat Arjun. Sonu said, “Let’s go home. I will rub ointment on your hand.” Everyone was in fear and moving towards home silently.
