BOOK SUMMARY: TURNING POINT PART 1&2

From past time, our dependence on material things is increasing. We find ourselves in “minimum effort and maximum comfort.” This is losing human’s identity and making captives of materialism. In the time, negligence is painting an ugly picture of human’s noble structure of character. Nowadays theology has been lasting and technology is taking place. Metaphysics is disappearing only physics is available. Our values reached its danger level.

Alvin Toffler, author of the 3rd wave, has written, after agricultural revolution, in 17th century industrial revolution begins. The second wave has left us in a medley of mounting problems. Now our society became a diseased one and is suffering from the virus of hatred, social tensions, corruption, crippling strikes and union agitation, energy crisis, pollution, unemployment, loneliness and frustration etc.

Humans are both a rational and social. We live in a society which is protected by spiritual and moral regulations. If this protection breaks then we become free to graze in a posture of free living, this lead us to our ruin. We sin to a pitiful existence akin to that of animal.

We need a silent revolution to purify ourselves. We need a mighty leadership and strength of a God communion Sadhu.

Some progressive streams of Christianity, like the Mormons ban their adherence from smoking are taking drugs. The 7th day Adventist church insists on a vegetarian diet an addiction free life.

The unhealthy times have left our society crippled of its morals and drained of its spiritual vitality. It is the time of estrangement from righteousness that God comes to our rescue and repairs the moral fabric of society.

It may not be possible for today to grasp the full ideas of Vedas, but here is a message of peace and harmony-

Let your aim be one single

Let your hearts be joined in one

The mind at rest in unison

At peace with all, so may you be

Rig Veda 10.191.4


Swami Vivekananda once said that every spiritual leader is an idolater as he has not realised fully God and his soul. This is true, for it is impossible to conceive of God without associating with some form or the other. When such exalted souls practice image worship, why should not we?

We have so many ideas that show our faith in God. Despite we tend to doubt the existence of God. But we have the highest faith is vouchsafed by a God communion sadhu. It fully suppress the traces of scepticisms and make it fully disappears. He realises the all writing form in scriptures is true, as revealed by Bhagwan Swaminarayan in Vachanamrut Ahmedabad 1. This realization of God can be attained by grace of a sadhu who has attained rapport with God.

We can logically conclude that the perfect, infinite personality of God cannot possibly be understood by our limited, illusion ridden, in accurate and experienced senses.

Naam jap has its effect on the devotee whether it chanted knowingly or unknowingly but the effect will be more blessing if chanted consciously, correctly and with an awareness of its glory.

In the book we do not find any word of materialistic pleasure. Shree Ji Maharaj knows their temporary nature. He shared with us a permanent and all-encompassing spiritual bliss he enjoys. He guided to pray, make effort and company of a satpurush, we can attain this happiness.

Inspiring moral and spiritual values in children is the only panacea for our ills in society.

For being helpful, we should learn empathy- an ability to respond genuinely to a child’s moods and feelings without being infected by them. We should help teenagers with their anger, fear and confusion without ourselves becoming angry, fearful and confused.

Teamwork triumphs if we come together to begin, stay together for progress and work together as a teamwork. The recipe for teamwork consists of three main ingredients…

We should nourish our mind with good wholesome reading, exercise discrimination whilst watching television or surfing the net and keep good company.

A little contemplation and discipline will help you avoid repeating harmful slips. Satsang or the association with a spiritual master enables you to overcome our inner base nature, which is the root cause of all conflicts and mundane bondage.

We all know today is 15th August Independence Day. It is a very great day for us as a citizen of India. Today everyone is sharing photos and updating status on all the social media sites, like the whole country is coloured with tricolour. We all celebrate this day every year with full zeal and in patriotic way. We all have a cordial nature for our soldiers. We will always remember the sacrifice of soldiers in Jammu Kashmir operation (1948), China war (1962), Pakistan war (1965), Bangladesh war (1971), IPKF operation Pawan in Sri Lanka (1987), Kargil conflict (1999), and many more operations that gave befitting response to those who tried to dismantle the sovereignty of India. It feels very good to see everyone is patriotic and showing love towards the country but this feeling should be long lasting not only on Independence Day or in Republic day. It was 25 th  2010 July, first day of my engineering college. I was very sincere, so I was there to attend the class there were three boys and two girls, others were absent because it was first day and some people take the first day lightly.
