WHY THIS BOOK: SPUTNIK SWEETHEART
There are so many books that I read were nonfiction type and self-help. Some year before I thought that we should read only non fiction books that help our growth are provide us a skill. I read some books like ‘Man search for meaning’ ‘Ikigai’ etc for self-help. I read some books on trading and investing like ‘coffee can investing’ ‘Psychology of money’ and ‘How to make money intraday’ etc. I love writing so I thought to skill up myself so I read ‘On writing by Stephen King’ ‘Show your work’ ‘Steal like an artist’ etc. While writing some love stories I realised that I am not able to write the love stories which satisfy my readers. Though most of my friends suggest that you should read novels to know how stories work. I didn’t focus on it till I wrote ‘Broken birthday and the boy.’
Some days passed and I didn’t get any idea of a story. I also didn’t focus much because I changed my job. This time I was quite busy. I was enjoying different people, different places and the job as well. After few months, I find myself settled here. I still didn’t find any idea to write a story though I wanted to write something. I again talked to my friend and told everything. He told me again that I should read some novels. While leaving Delhi I carried some books with me. I found this novel, Sputnik sweetheart. In Delhi I bought this book because I heard of it with my elder brother. In the book I read about a girl who used to write. I thought if I read this book I may know more about writers and their life.
This book is best seller in Japan and internationally. It is originally written in Japanese but later translated in English by Philip Gabriel. It is a love story with detective outlook. It is full of romance. This book is a wonderful novel to read, feel and learn. I found it country to read.
