In India school system favour memorisation and homogenisation of thoughts among the students in the school which may lag them in every aspect of life and in the knowledge economy as well. But western schools tend to favour individual expression and originality far greater than eastern countries.
They were old days when people learn some specific skill or get a degree which make us employed. Now we have to be tech driven. There is always something new, new technology, new tools and maybe new work. We have to know or do these things to improve our productivity and capabilities to satisfy demand.
